Wedding Favors

Was just chatting with Vinod Lal, who's just done a beautiful campaign to make people plant more trees.

He told me of this couple in Cochin who, instead of giving away Coconuts or chocolates, gave away saplings as wedding favors. It seems that their friends still remember the gesture, and some even send them pictures of what the plants have grown into.

I think it's a great idea. What say Dee and Kurian?
